Challenge – gravel grinder 700x42c black

This is the best all-round tire in the Challenge Gravel range. The tread pattern of this bicycle tire will roll smoothly on the diamond center plane at higher speeds with just the right balance of traction, cornering and braking. When the track gets soft – either wet or dry – or cornering, the side knobs will engage smoothly to add more stability and control. At lower pressures, it is possible to also connect the outer knobs to the diamond center plane to increase traction, braking and cornering at the expense of low rolling resistance when the track is particularly muddy, soft and slippery. Gravel Grinder, like all Challenge Gravel tires, features a sturdier construction with added puncture protection, more durable rubber compound and sturdier sidewalls.
